Good typography is essential to clear communication, but few church communicators have any training in this area. Because of that typefaces are often chosen because they "look interesting" but "interesting" is not a good criteria for good communication.
The best type choices in church communications should be invisible, which means you should never notice the typeface you are reading, the words, the message is what you should focus on.
This course is a very brief introduction to a topic that can take a lifetime to master, but it will give you the essentials you need to make good type choices.
